I lied – it’s still up. But I no longer own the domain. Everything is still the same though.

I am a huge foodie and yumastic.ca was a pet project to explore affiliate marketing, setting up blogs and satisfying my creative writing/photography side. Armed with my now-stolen Nikon D300, I went out around town to eat, review, have fun and write. I later got a few more people on board to generate online content for the site to see where it would go. I had grandiose schemes to somehow make it rival www.chow.com and www.seriouseats.com one day. It was incredibly challenging to make things consistent across the board with my friends/writers, but gained a lot of experience doing it. It was a good foray into virtual ventures.

Since I neglected it, it got snatched up pretty quick when the time expired for hosting. However, I’m already planning my next foodie blog. Stay tuned!
