I worked as a Market Research Analyst in the growing marketing arm of Neverblue Media. Neverblue is a leading global Cost Per Action (CPA) performance based affiliate marketing network specializing in lead generation and client acquisition. I learned A LOT about the ins and outs of internet marketing – on the publisher side, the network side and the advertiser side. SEO, keywords, fraud, different platforms on search, email, social, mobile etc, black hat, white hat, various different models… you name it, I’ve been exposed to it.
Through my position at Neverblue, I learned a great deal using excel effectively to in analyzing very large portions of data (1 million+ lines) to synthesize information from various sources including the internal intranet and external websites such as Alexa, Quantcast, ComScore, and Compete to produce meaningful analysis to be easily interpreted. I relayed my findings and information between the Account Executives (B2B) and Account Managers (B2C) to sync up client acquisition efforts.
I was compiling upwards of 200+ highly qualified leads per month for client acquisition during my term there which was problematic to keep track of. Utilizing Zoho CRM, I implemented and setup my own online customer relationship management (CRM) system to automate efforts and monitor the ROI on our experimental division which successfully paid itself off.
I also generated reports on various verticals in the CPA landscape and presented my findings regularly to executives of the organization. In addition to presentations, I have also coached Account Executives and Account Managers on highly effective lead acquisition techniques to acquire new clients and improve their overall gross profit.
Continuous learning was paramount here to drive innovation and success. I absolutely thrived on it.
