Growing up on the west coast island lifestyle definitely has its perks – the fresh ocean air, surrounded by the sea and mountains are most definitely perks. The laid-back lifestyle allowed me to explore a lot of hobbies, almost to the point where finding hobbies is my hobby. These are the ones that made the cut and have stuck.
- I’ve intensely played Igo, where I played on various internet servers for quite a few years. I acheived 3 kyu for a bit. Oh so short on being amateur 1d!
- Photography took over everything for a long few years which led me to doing photography semi-professionally.
- Wing Chun was my martial art of choice – who doesn’t like economy of motion, short range strikes and Bruce Lee?
- I caught the travel bug hard – been to 17 countries, lived in four if you count Canada and USA.
- Cooking, baking – been out of it for a while, but nothing like doing something that you can eat! I am an unapologetic foodie.
- My religion is Crossfit, the never ending search for functional fitness and maximizing your body to its fullest potential. I love digging deep, and then digging deeper to find what I am made out of. I am down to do anything active and outdoorsy.
- I embrace my inner geek. I’ve never known a time there wasn’t a computer at home and I’m on my laptop constantly. 2D, 3D Platformers, Real Time Strategy, and Role Playing Games are my game of choice for video games. I’m also seen on working on various multimedia projects involving video or photography. Or just plain reading tech news and updating myself on gadgets.
- I’ve dabbled in Ballroom dancing, guitar playing, web design, music playing, paragliding, kayaking, scootering, gymnastics and some more.
